Call for Submissions: Wood Design & Building Awards

The Wood Design & Building Awards program is back for a 42nd year of celebrating design excellence, innovation, and the evolving role of wood construction in the built environment. Don’t miss this opportunity to share your architectural achievements – nominate your project today!

Our robust program of awards honours a diversity of architectural achievements and recognizes design teams whose work centers wood as a sustainable, versatile, and sophisticated building material. Submissions are received under 5 main categories:

• Non-residential
• Residential
• Adaptive Reuse, Additions, and Renovations
• International Building
• Other (Exterior Structures, Bridges, ect.)

For projects located in Ontario, British Columbia, or the Canadian Prairies, the entry fee is waived and projects in these regions are automatically be considered for the regional WoodWorks Awards in addition to the Wood Design & Building awards.

Entry Fees

Early Bird Fees (until May 31, 2026)

• First Entry | $150 USD
• Subsequent Entry | $140 USD

Regular Entry Fees

• First Entry | $175 USD
• Subsequent | $165 USD
